In partnership with Purdue University College of Pharmacy, Office of Continuing Education, and funding from the Employers Forum of Indiana and the Amerisource Bergen Foundation, Overdose Lifeline has developed CE courses and a 20-hour certificate program on Addiction / Substance Use Disorder with an Opioid Specialization.
An individual may pursue individual course CE credits or complete the entire Certificate Program (20 credits). The Certificate Program is in development with 9 CE Credits available today and the remaining courses due in early 2020.
The courses / program assists clinicians in building knowledge and competency in the underserved area - substance use disorder/opioid crisis. As well as, for those from other disciplines who want to learn more or who have a role in addressing substance use disorder / opioid public health crisis. The program is structured to support the educational needs of healthcare professionals, students and the layperson.

The Advanced Certificate Program is designed for people with demanding schedules. Courses may be taken in any order. On your own schedule — at your own pace.
You will complete eight online courses with activities and discussions to build your knowledge and skill sets. Each course includes "Check Your Knowledge" activities to assist in preparing for the course final exam.
